Crystal World, situated approx. 12 km. from Roorkee and 18 km. from Hardwar, is a famous Amusement and Water Park just before Delhi – Hardwar Highway is about to enter the city of Hardwar. Since it is not a far away place for Saharanpurians, we make it a point to visit this beautiful place at least once every year when temperature goes up and up during summer. In every next visit, we find that some new attractions have been added so the experience is always better and is never repeated.
There are basically two types of attractions – Amusement park and the water park. Children and many adults find the swings the most enjoyable part of the experience. However, since childhood, I have never been able to enjoy any swing because of the feeling of sickness. Even though I have to stay away from swings, it doesn’t mean there is nothing enjoyable for people like me. Water parks, slides, boating and of course the food are major attractions for me.

Entry is chargeable – Rs. 600/- per person. For senior citizens and children Rs. 500/- (as on March, 2016. No charge for children below 3′ height.
Timings : 10.30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Nylon costume is compulsory for entering water parks. If you don’t have it with you, you can have it on rental basis. Refundable security is to be deposited. For your valuables, you can get a locker also but it is best not to carry jewellery, wrist watch etc.
